As scores of you have witnessed for countless years, there is an obvious void of leadership in Springfield. Public officials have become stagnant, complacent office holders, who no longer serve the public’s best interests. We are seeing problems in funding our educational system. We are seeing tons of harmful emissions enter our atmosphere everyday because mass transit is still in shambles. We are clearly seeing corporate influence putting a stranglehold on our political process. Democracy itself is at stake! What we AREN'T seeing is public officials SOLVING these problems.

This state is in drastic need for CHANGE and I hope to provide the solutions to major obstacles we are presently facing and prevent tomorrow’s problems today! It’s time to give power back to the PEOPLE in Illinois. I am seeking public office in order to challenge the current political environment of the state and promote a participatory pro-democracy agenda. I want to see Illinois flourish and lead the rest of the nation by example. For these reasons I have chosen to REFUSE all corporate and PAC campaign contributions!

Let’s make this a monumental year for Illinois and democracy!
